Our main event Pulse is a mere 13 days away! I know it's a shock, but we're really excited, and we hope you are too.

So, now you're sat down and we've got your attention, you want to know a little bit more about the event. We believe that the venue plays a huge part in the success of an event. That's why we meticulously chose our venue for Pulse with a lot of care and we're very pleased to say that the event will be housed at Revolution Bar on Birmingham's best party street, Broad Street.

Situated next to the Mecca of late night partying, Gatecrasher, Revolution is a stylish and modern bar, with the largest selection of vodka your eyes can behold. During the day and early evening, they serve wonderful food (with 50% off on Mondays!). So why not pop down for some dinner and then start your night with some of their delectable cocktails.

On the night of our event, Revolution are giving us 25% off drinks for all our lovely party-goers, including cocktails, wine and beer! If that doesn't persuade you, maybe the bottle of spirits and crate of beer they're donating for our raffle on the night will?

The Fashion Social

On Tuesday 5th February we held a Fashion Social at the Gosta Green pub in Birmingham to raise some money for the British Heart Foundation and Graduate Fashion Week.

The British Heart Foundation

The British Heart Foundation are Britain's national heart charity. Their vision is to have a world where people don't die prematurely from heart disease. To help them achieve this, they fund pioneering research, prevention activity and provide quality care for everyone living with heart disease.

Although you may think the BHF just help to prevent heart attacks, cardiovascular disease actually covers a range of diseases, including heart disease, stroke, heart failure and congenital heart disease. Collectively, these diseases cause more than a quarter of all deaths in the UK every year.

However, there are easy and effective ways to reduce your risk of getting heart disease. One of them is raising your heart rate regularly. With this in mind, we're holding a one-off special event on Tuesday 26th February 2013 to get your heart racing!

Held at Revolution Bar on Broad Street in Birmingham, we'll be showcasing a selection of pulse raising activities such as casino tables, fire breathers, stilt walkers and angle grinding dancers. Not to mention the selection of fantastic drinks deals on cocktails, wine and beer, topped off with some great tunes to really raise your BPM.

We're Bijoux Events and we're party-holics...

Hello there!

If you've stumbled upon this little corner of the internet it means you're looking for a good time, which is perfect, because if anyone knows how to have a good time, it's Bijoux Events Management!

We are a young, fun (if we do say so ourselves) event management team who put on events that get people together for a fabulous time around Birmingham. This is our blog to keep you lovely people up to date with everything Bijoux.

We consist of a group of nine girls who are all studying for a degree in Fashion Retail Management. As you can imagine, our lives are pretty hectic, but we love the opportunity to go out for a night, have some fun and meet some interesting people.

We know the type of events we love going to to have fun and we know that there's a lot of you out there that love those kind of events too. So, who's going to bring those events to you? Bijoux are!
